woah...

so, I have never regretted my decision in "retiring" from softball, and last night, I was just reminded of why that was the right choice for me. I know that sports are competitive, but MY GOODNESS, IT'S JUST A GAME!!! (my daddy always laughs when I say that because I did a complete 180 as I was nearing the end of my softball career.) I used to be JUST like everyone else, actually, a lot worse...I was so caught up in the game and wanting to win that I may have hurt people's feelings in the process...the umpires do the best job they can, they don't need any extra pressure from the fans, coaches, and players. At Kacy's big game last night, people were yelling at the umps and even yelling "swing" while the other team was batting (because they did it to us first...but that DOES NOT make it right to retaliate!) I just said a prayer to God apologizing for all the times that I acted just like that and worse. I just hope I will NEVER get anywhere close to acting like that again.

On a lighter note, it was a very exciting game, and the Wildcats WON 5-4 in 11 INNINGS! :) WAY TO GO!!!

I just thank God everyday for blessing me with so much! I am very grateful. Yesterday, I gave blood with my daddy. I don't know what was going on, but my blood just decided to be stubborn and take FOREVVVVER to pump out! haha. For dinner, we went to P.F. Changs to celebrate Heather's birthday and the end of semester for our Sunday night small group. So, we got the Denley's a gift card to P.F. Changs to show them how much we appreciate their generous hospitality, delicious home-cooked meals, and in depth conversations. Well, when it came time to pay for our meal, THEY PAID FOR EVERYBODY'S! We told them that this was THEIR present and they couldn't pay for ours, but they insisted and wouldn't let us... we are so grateful to have them in our lives. I've really enjoyed spending my Sunday evenings with that group. We are taking a little break for the summer because they are traveling until July, but we will start up again after that.

Tonight is Kacy's baseball game and he is supposed to be pitching! I am going to cheer him on! GO WILDCATS!!!

VACAY FUN!

OH MY GOSH. WE HAD A BLAST ON VACATION! :) I am so thankful that we got the opportunity to go and stay. Thanks to my wonderful Aunt and Uncle for letting us stay at their amazing condo! We felt like queens for the week! :) We had lots and lots of fun soaking up rays on the beach. We had a nightly ritual of relaxing in the hot tub. During the day, we just ate sandwiches and snacks at the condo, and at night we went out to eat. We ate at Joes Crab Shack, Osaka (Japanese), Panera Bread, La Rumba (Mexican), Dippin Dots, and the last night we enjoyed THE DONUT HOLE for dessert!

Saturday we met my Aunt, Grandma, and little cousin Zach at the condo so they could show us how everything worked and where everything was located. Then, we enjoyed a nice dinner out with them. Sunday, my Aunt came with us to the beach for a while and we had a photo shoot! It was sooooooo fun! Definitely my favorite part of the trip! They left Sunday afternoon. I was glad I got to see them for at least a little while, because I miss them so much! But, they will be up here in a few weeks for Kacy's Graduation, so I will get to spend more time with them then! YAY!

CKC & KK fun at the ballfield

Chandler and I had a BLAST hanging out together! She was such a good baby. She didn't give me any trouble at all. After sitting in traffic forevvvvvver because of all the road closings, we finally made it to the ballfield. It was Kacy's Senior Night, so we made him a sign. We were his little cheering section. Chandler would clap and cheer with me! It was great!

WOW. This flood is just CRAZY!!! I am fortunate that I do not live in an area that is completely submerged under water, but downtown Clarksville on Riverside Drive is... one of the people at my parent's church flies their own airplane, and they took aerial pictures. It is CRAZY! Also, there is water covering certain streets here and there, so traffic is backed up for miles. It took me 50 MINUTES to get somewhere yesterday that normally takes about 10-15. Please pray for all the families affected by the flood.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

so...today is my Daddy's birthday...he's 110 years old..haha.. just kidding. only 45! (trying to make him feel better about getting to be an old fart..HA!) so after church I went to my parent's house. He opened presents, then we went to Burger King for lunch. I had a Veggie Burger=YUM!!! Then we went to the movies and saw Losers...it was DEFINITELY a boy movie...not bad, but not my favorite by any means. oh well, it was for his birthday, so he got to pick! :)


the weather is CRAZY!! It's been raining nonstop pretty much the whole weekend...a little south of us is FLOODING. There are boats going around getting people...some people are stranded sitting on top of their houses! They have even cancelled the local school system tomorrow, and it's not even THAT bad here...but surrounding counties are...crazy! I'm praying for those affected by this weather...

I went to the library yesterday and got a TON of cookbooks, so I am now in the process of scanning recipes and saving pages of things I want to try...but there will be an experiment when I get back from FLORIDA for sure!! only 6 days til I will be there!! wahhhooooooooo!!!

reception!

OMG! The wedding reception was sooooooooo much fun! I danced the night away with my friends! We were actually the ones who got the party started! Dancing is so much fun! It doesn't matter what other people think, because I KNOW I can't dance, but just getting out there and having fun is awesome! :)

Today I'm going to hangout with my family to celebrate Daddy's birthday because tomorrow I am supposed to babysit and going out to dinner at P.F. Changs for Heather's birthday/end-of-the-semester hoorah! YAY!
