It was a Rollercoaster Year, but TOTALLY worth it!

This was a roller coaster year for the Wolfepack, but we wouldn't change it for anything! We know God's plans are WAY better than anything we can imagine!!
We thought it would be fun to do a little recap of the big moments of 2014 for us. Hope you enjoy! ***Warning: This is a very picture heavy post!!!***

We started off with our VERY FIRST year on the Web.com Tour. Jared played in 17 events, which meant we were apart a LOT. (That number doesn't include the weeks he stayed with buddies in Florida to practice during the winter). We went through some rough moments, but ultimately God helped us stay strong and enjoy every single MOMENT that we were together! He allowed me to take off work and attend 5 tournaments with him, which he came in 33rd in Georgia!

Jared's parents crammed into our car for a longgggg drive home! That was a hoot! Fun times!

We celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY at the Kansas tournament, but we were together, and that's what mattered the most. We treated ourselves to protein cookies and smoothies after our workout to celebrate since we couldn't eat too much junk with Jared playing that day. haha

While he was home one week, he played in an NGA Pro Tournament that was closeby, and WON! I got to caddy for him on the weekend and it was AWESOME.

I absolutely LOVED my job. I fell in love with Baby Drew and Amelia. I had so much fun watching baby Drew in each phase of his life, and Amelia was fun to play princess and all things girly with everyday. She LOVES the color purple, so I would paint my nails purple just for her! We had fun at the playground and even went to the zoo a few times! It was SO MUCH FUN.

Then, around the middle of August, God told us that we needed to move to Florida to further Jared's career. I cried and cried when I had to say "SEE YOU LATER" to the family I nannied, but I know that God had everything under control. So, we packed up our cars and headed down to Florida! Jared actually went down while I was still working and picked out the apartment we would move into! He did a great job because we LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The location is incredible and the people are very nice around us and aren't super loud ever! We were extremely thankful and grateful to live in the basement of Jared's parents' house for a year for cheap rent and good company, but we LOVE being in our OWN place!

When we got our driver's licenses, they didn't tell us when they were taking the picture, so we both look ridiculous. But oh well... it's funny.

When we first moved down, I went to the course with Jared and picked up balls, set up putting drills, and made sure he was well fed during his practice rounds and drills. I also cleaned the apartment a lot, read blogs, and started babysitting here and there.

We attempted our very own HOMEMADE pizza with my friend's recipe, and it was a hit! We usually have homemade pizza once a week now. Perfectly fitting with our FAVORITE piece of art in the apartment, right? :)

I caddied for Jared during the first stage of Q-School, but unfortunately he didn't make it through. But it's OKAY because God has a plan and Jared has been practicing more efficiently and not stressing himself out with his mental game and has done well in some mini-tour events! Sometimes you have to take a step back to take a leap forward! We are staying positive through everything and keeping Christ first! God has continually blessed us.

In November, I attended my FIRST blogger conference and got SO MUCH MORE OUT OF IT than I thought I would!!!!

You can read all about my total breakdown in this post.

God gave ME an incredible work schedule. I watch this precious baby in the mornings, and then a four year old in the afternoon. We have become good friends with the baby's family and we are SO GRATEFUL. They are in the crazy golf world too, so it's nice to be able to share stories and tips with each other.

They don't mind if Jared comes over to help when they go on date nights, so it's been fun for Jared to see how a little baby acts and watch him grow! Also, we don't want to have kids for a while, (unless God decides we are) so we are grateful they let us borrow him every once in a while! :)

While we were in Orlando for a mini-tour event, Jared's friend gave us tickets to Disney World! We had a blast acting like kids again!

We went to Tallahassee for Thanksgiving to visit my side of the family  - grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! We had a great time!

Jared has always DREAMED of going to a professional football game, and his dream finally came true! The dad of the four year old I watch was sick and has season tickets. He asked if Jared would like to go and when I told Jared you would have thought he was a little kid again. He got SUPER pumped! We had a wonderful time together. I actually enjoyed it because I HATE football, but being there with Jared was fun and the Jags have the BIGGEST screens in the NFL, so I had fun watching all the instagram and twitter pics pop up. haha. We also saw some of the PGA players that Jared practices with at Sawgrass compete in the halftime competition.

God also blessed me with becoming a LOVE GROWN ambassador!!! I'm so excited! I received my first love drop a couple weeks ago and can't wait to host some giveaways for you all soon!

We took a quick trip to TN and KY for a few days before Christmas, but wanted to wake up on Christmas day in our own place. It was a great visit and we loved spending time with family. We can't lie though, it was AWESOME to take a walk on the beach in SHORTS on Christmas day!!!

After the beach, we saw Night at the Museum at the theater, and I got a text from Sarah asking if we wanted to come over for Christmas dinner. We already pre-made our pizza dough because let's be real... we LOVE pizza... and that's what we wanted for OUR Christmas dinner! haha. So, we brought over our pizza stuff and they had ribs cooking, so we all shared and had a GREAT evening! Jared made fun of my Christmas tree pizza because the top branches were bigger than the bottom. Oops!

For our Christmas present to each other, we decided to have a complete JK day. We watched the Louisville basketball game, went ice skating, played putt putt, and went out to a fancy dinner.

GUESS WHO WON AT PUTT PUTT!?!?!?!

We are looking forward to see what God has in store for us in 2015!
Hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

This yogurt was delicious! You couldn't tell that it had less sugar than other yogurts, and still tasted awesome.  It was creamy and smooth. We enjoyed it by itself, mixed with cereal and granola, and as a little treat for dessert.
Just mix one container of Maia Yogurt, one ripe mashed banana, and some PB2 into a bowl. Freeze for about 2 hours. That's it! Healthy dessert is served!

2 Armadillos Company Review

2 Armadillos sent us some samples of their chickpeas to review!
Here's some info about them from their website:

Our first batch of crispy chickpeas was made in a tiny New York City oven that was so old it didn't even have numbers on the dials. The year was 2011, and Greg was just a hungry medical student looking to get through a crazy day at work without running to the vending machine for a bag of chips or a candy bar. He started roasting chickpeas at night, seasoning them with whatever was in the cupboard, and throwing them in a plastic bag to help deal with his daily 4:00pm hunger pangs. His coworkers would look over with curiosity when they heard the afternoon crunching, and inevitably he would offer up some snacks. They were a hit! That's when he realized he was on to something special, but it would be a while before he had the idea to start a business.

Jimmy and Greg would frequently discuss the many problems with our food system: it's responsible for the current obesity and diabetes epidemics, it's bad for the planet, and it creates an environment that perpetuates malnutrition and food insecurity. It had been over a year since Greg started making his chickpeas in that tiny NYC kitchen when everything finally clicked. Jimmy had finished a big real estate deal and they were brainstorming new projects for him to take on. It was on a whim that Greg suggested they start a business to create a better snacking alternative. He never expected Jimmy to get as excited as he did. And just like that, they couldn't stop talking about how the broken food system was ripe for the 2Armadillos revolution.

Our Review:
These were a GREAT alternative to potato chips in our lunch and a healthy crunchy snack for the golf course!

The Savory flavors (Tomato Basil and Rosemary) were our favorites. The Cinnamon Toast was good, but a little too cinnamon-y for our taste. These would also be great on top of yogurt and also on salad in place of croutons!

Please visit their website and try some for yourself!

Send Me Gluten Free Box Review

Send Me Gluten Free sent us a box full of gluten free goodies to review. Here's some more info from their website:
Our mission is to help the gluten free community by providing great resources and fun ways to try new products that are safe for you and your family. That mission is so important to us because we get it...we have families that live gluten free and most of our team lives gluten free too. We know first-hand how difficult it can be to find the best products and we’re here to make all of that easier with our monthly subscription box. We hope you’ll join us!
We know gluten free. While Send Me Gluten Free is shiny and new, we have been helping the gluten free community for a pretty long time. We’ve hosted the Gluten & Allergen Free Expos since 2007, helping thousands of people discover new gluten free products and learn how to make their lifestyle easier. In 2010, we launched the mobile app Find Me Gluten Free. It quickly became the #1 gluten free restaurant finder app, and has since added thousands of listings to help people just like you find safe places to eat locally and when traveling.

We wanted to do more.
While we have seven cities on our expo tour, there are a lot of people in between that just can’t make it to one. We like to think of Send Me Gluten Free as an “expo in a box” for you to try new gluten free products right in your home. And while the Find Me Gluten Free app has been helping people find places to eat, and smartphones seem to be able to do just about anything, the technology just isn’t there yet to try out new products on your phone. So until that day comes, Send Me Gluten Free will have to do!

We send you cool stuff. Each month you’ll get to try 8-12 new gluten free products. You’ll get full-size and sample size food, personal care items, supplements and household products that support your gluten free lifestyle.

Our Review:

This box was packed full of gluten free goodies! This was such a fun and easy way to try out a bunch of new snacks! If we had to pick a favorite out of the box, we would both pick the Focaccia bread together and seperately, Jared would choose the gummy vitamins and I would choose the granola! All of the products were very good and there was such a great variety! They even included coupons for FREE FULL SIZE PRODUCT! That is awesome!

Check out their website and set up a subscription for yourself. They are offering my readers a discount of 20% off any subscription length with the code BLOG20.

Eat Without Worry This Holiday Season with CharcoCaps!

We all know that the holidays bring lots of delicious food and indulging. Today, we're going to talk about a product that can help eliminate worrying about gas and discomfort after those big meals!

CharcoCaps® Anti-Gas Formula (www.charcocaps.com) is a unique, safe, naturally gentle dietary supplement that can be used for long term or daily use with no side effects. It's proven to adsorb and eliminate intestinal gas and bloating fast thanks to the use of activated charcoal. Activated charcoal has been used for medicinal purposes for centuries and is well-known for use in hospitals for treating accidental poisoning because of its porous, adsorbing qualities. (NOTE: CharcoCaps® is not a treatment for accidental poisoning and, rest assured, is not made of the same charcoal found in bbq briquettes.)

Some Facts about CharcoCaps:

  • Two CharcoCaps capsules should be taken during or after eating high-gas producing foods, or at first sign of discomfort; repeat dose after two hours if necessary. Do not exceed 16 capsules per day

  •
  • CharcoCaps is gluten, dairy, and sugar free

  •
  • CharcoCaps is available in a 36 count or 100 count and can be found in the antacid/anti gas section of

This Thanksgiving, Jared tried out the CharcoCaps after his THREE plates of food, and said it really did eliminate the overly stuffed and bloated feeling, but most importantly, ELIMINATED THE GAS! The rest of us were very thankful! haha
