I decided it was time to give my blog a new look! :)

Yesterday, my mom attended the Scholarship Dinner with me. It was SUPER NICE. The meal was DELICIOUS and I really enjoyed spending time with my mom. I usually go to formal things like that with my dad for work, but it was a great feeling to know we got to attend such a fancy dinner because of ME! :)

I loved running the 5k because I got to accomplish a goal, but I still do not like running. It made me think that I can just come up with a DIFFERENT kind of goal, and I decided that I want to take cooking lessons!

almost done!

I made a 100 on my Technology Project! whooooop whooooop! :) I can't believe I only have ONE day of class left. Then, a few finals, and I'll be DONE with my sophomore year already! how crazy is that?!?!?

Tonight our Community group is having a game night! Our leader, Meagan, is getting married on Friday, so another couple that helps in the college ministry offered to host a game night at their house. They are cooking us a meal! How nice! :) God has really blessed me with such a wonderful church family!

oh, and btw, I am TOTALLY feeling it in my thighs today...haha. Every time I go "UP" at all, it's sore...haha. Oh well, I accomplished my goal of doing a 5k, so the soreness is SO WORTH IT!!! :)

5k day!

I survived my first 5k!!! I finished in about 27 minutes...

FULL of hills, I might add...

It felt great to cross the finish line with people cheering. My daddy and my good friend, Casey, (who encouraged me to do it in the first place) actually came out to cheer me on! That meant so much to me! THANKS CASEY! Love you! :)

I am so glad to have that accomplishment under my belt now. Afterwards, I had community group. Good discussion about the devil and evil.

Can't believe this is my last week of class! and...the countdown to Florida is only 13 DAYS now!!!

Today was Kacy's Senior Prom. Oh man, did I have fun taking these pics! haha.

Last night, Kacy and I had some bro&sis time. It was nice. I treated him to Wendy's for dinner and then we went bowling afterwards. I beat him. (just had to throw that in there) It was really great just to hangout with him and laugh and talk...oh, and did I mention NO ARGUING? whoop whoop! :-)

I got the Ken&Amy Landrum scholarship again for Junior Year!!! :)

Yesterday, we had birthday party for Hannah. It was fun. We ate pizza and played games. Apples to Apples is a hoot! haha.

Today, I played baseball with Robbie and two of the neighborhood kids. They stuck me with the kid who NEVER played baseball before...BUT our team DOMINATED anyways! muahahah. I hit TWO homeruns!! Oh, the memories that came to my mind...loved the time that I did play, but I'm still very happy with my decision to retire. :)
