Sunshine Burger Review

Sunshine Burgers was kind enough to send me some coupons to pick out three of their flavors to try.

I chose Breakfast, Barbecue, and Garden Herb.

Here is a little info from their website:
Carols farm fresh vegetarian burgers are not meant to be a beef imitation but an excellent flavor sensation of their own. Because Carol’s burgers were so well loved and her family and friends raved about them, Sunshine Burger Company was born.

Sunshine Burgers taste great on a bun, in a pocket pita or in a sandwich wrap, add your favorite condiments and veggies. Excellent on the grill or stove top.

Now onto my review:

Garden Herb: 10/10! This burger was bursting with flavor! It stayed together well too, unlike other veggie burgers I’ve eaten.

Breakfast: 10/10! This burger was not just tasty, but very filling! It has hemp seeds and adzuki beans...which I have never had before. I enjoyed it!

Barbecue: 9/10! This burger was great! I enjoyed the subtle barbecue flavor. It wasn’t too overpowering, which I liked!

Please visit their website and try some Sunshine Burgers for yourself!

Pumped Up Kicks

I liked the song, "Pumped Up Kicks" the first few times it was played. Then, it was WAYYYY overplayed and it got on my nerves. haha. Anyways, I got me some NEW KICKS today with the Kohl's Cash that Mrs. Sue Ellen gave me!

I have been needing some new tennis shoes for a while now. Finally got them!

I've also been waiting a while for Nicholas Sparks's new book to be available at the library! FINALLY GOT IT!!!
:)
I definitely stopped reading the book I was currently reading in the middle of it in order to start this book! It's pretty interesting so far.

What book are you DYING to read?

Now, onto my review

Sea Salt Sweet Potato Chips: 8/10. These were super crunchy. Didn't taste the sea salt really, but loved the 3g of fiber and vitamin A!

Hickory BBQ Sweet Potato Chips:10/10! These tasted just like bbq chips! Loved the flavor and the crunchiness :)

Zesty Nacho Kale Chips: 8/10! I have never tasted Kale before, so I was unsure of what to expect, but these were good! The flavor was a little bit too spicy for my liking, so that’s why I gave it an 8.

Mango Habanero Kale Chips: 9/10! I was nervous to try these because of the Habanero, but I actually preferred these over the Zesty Nacho! The mango flavor was great! J

The thing I love most about these snacks are the nutritional facts. They are FULL of Vitamins, antioxidants, and other nutrients. You should definitely try these!

Lazy Day + New Blog Design

After I got my butt kicked at SPIN class this morning, I enjoyed a super lazy day.

I watched two movies, enjoyed delicious healthy meals and snacks, oh, and redesigned my blog!

As I've mentioned before, my mom took some photography classes and is becoming a professional! So who else was I supposed to ask for help other than the expert herself?

I told her the new picture idea that I had in my head, and she made it come to life!
:)

I decided to change up the background colors and fonts as well...

So, do you like my new design?
Do you change up your blog design every now and then?

Teapigs Review

Teapigs was kind enough to send me some samples of their tea to try and review on my blog.

Here is a little info about Teapigs from their website:

We believe in something pure and simple - no airs. no graces. just fine tea.

  • We will only ever sell teas of the highest quality. We will never compromise on quality. It also means we sell only whole leaf tea from selected estates, which we supply either as loose leaf or in tea temples.
  • We love tea; we just don't like the snobbery that can come with it. Instead we concentrate on bringing you the very best tea we can find and not taking ourselves too seriously.
  • We don't want to intimidate you with a huge list of teas or bewilder you with a mass of information (although, of course, you can always ask us). We've handpicked a select range that offers you the chance to discover the wonderfully diverse world of tea.
Now, onto the review:
I really love that ALL of the tea bags were biodegradable! (GO GREEN)

On the bags, they suggested to drink them pure. Well, I tried it without any added sugar, but I didn't like it. So, I added some and it tasted better! :)

English Breakfast: 6/10: This flavor took some getting used to, probably because I am an avid green tea drinker, but the flavor was alright after a few sips.

Darjeeling Earl Grey:5/10: I have tried Earl Grey tea before, and I DID not like it, so this was not any different...Guess I'm just NOT a fan! :(

Rooibos Crème Caramel: 7/10: This was a dessert tea. It was great after dinner!

Mao Feng Green Tea: 5/10: I LOVE green tea, but this tasted really bitter. It was not my favorite.

Chamomile Flowers: 7/10: This was perfect to help me wind down and have a good night's sleep.

If you like branching out and trying new teas, you should definitely give these a shot!

Teapigs ships to the United States for £8.00!
