I love my small group. Tonight we started listening to a podcast from Heather's church back in Knoxville.
It's a series about Dating, Love, Sex, and Relationships. Tonight's message was all about LOVE.

That God created us to LOVE HIM and GLORIFY HIM! :-)

Love is not bad, but it ruins everything when we put it in place of God.

God has a passion for each one of us!

I am so thankful to be a part of this group of women.

GOD IS GOOD!

As I am writing this, I have my music playing (OF COURSE..haha..I ALWAYS have music on) and Chris Tomlin's song, Jesus Messiah, came on! I love that song. I heard it at Passion for the first time, and it was AWESOME to look around and see everyone worshiping our amazing God!!!!

well, I am officially all done with my first READING summary assignment...and it's not due until Feb 8th. :-) ahhhh I'm so relieved.

Today, I watched the babies again, and it was sooooo sweet. I think Grayson, one of my favorite little ones, actually recognizes me now! He always smiles a HUGE smile at me when I come in and he comes right over to me. Every week, it never fails that he falls asleep in my arms 10 minutes before the parents come. SO SO SWEET! :) anyways, I just made new babysitting cards, so I gave one to his mom when she picked him up and two other moms as well! :)

I love babysitting and love staying busy with it, so hopefully I will get some more families! :)

I'm getting ready to go to the Denley's house for a Bible Study. It's really neat...it's called "A Christian Conversation". They are such a sweet family. The husband is an AMAZING cook and they make us a homecooked meal EVERY Sunday night. Afterwards, we have a conversation about random things. One week it was about being a part of the world, but not OF the world, one week it was on Homosexuality, etc... it's just a conversation with other Christians about what we feel we should be doing in relevance to what we're talking about. I really enjoy it.

so...for my Reading class we have to read 26 picture books and 14 chapter books- children's literature. I was overwhelmed at first, and thought, THAT IS RIDICULOUS...but being the OPPOSITE OF THE PROCRASTINATOR that I am... I have already read THREE chapter books and 8 picture books! hahaha.

I got thank you cards from Robbie and Myrt for their Christmas presents. Omg, I almost cried they were so sweet. Myrt is 5 and her card said, "TANK you for the present" hahah and Robbie, the boy who is at that stage where he doesn't like to say I LOVE YOU anymore, wrote, "You are the best babysitter in the whole wide world. YOU ROCK. Thank you for the APSU shirt, I LOVE IT!!" Love, Robbie
:) awww. it made my day reading those! I LOVE THOSE LITTLE MUNCHKINS!!!

Today I babysat this morning, and I'm getting ready to go babysit again for a baby shower. and I made new babysitting cards, so I'm definitely going to hand them out tonight! ;)

Christmas was great. I loved the service at Grace yesterday. I asked my family to come to my church for a change, and they did! It was great to have my family with me at church again. I traded in a game for Mad Gab and we all played it as a family the other day...fun time! :) It's fun to not pay attention to what the phrase is, just hear how ridiculous people sound when it's not your team's turn. hahaha
Today, my daddy and I gave blood. I always enjoy doing it! the man that stuck me today though was not as good as they usually are...he totally missed my vein, and instead of REDOING it, he just moved and twisted the needle and it did not feel too good...now I'm really sore...BOO! Oh well, I'm a big girl. I am tough.

Today was my mom's birthday. We went to Logan's for lunch and then saw THE BLIND SIDE. omg, such a gooooood movie! It's definitely the best movie I have seen in a while. This evening, we tried out a brownie recipe that she found in a magazine (of course I wouldn't eat any because I HATE chocolate, haha, but apparently it was gross.) So, we then proceeded to watch the movie Holiday in Handcuffs that was on ABC Family on our Tivo. It was cute.
Yesterday, we went to Opryland Hotel and took some pretty pics. They're all on my facebook. They turned out really nice, and we actually had a fun time taking them! EVERYBODY was in a good mood which was a Christmas miracle!!!!

A baby changes everything...

omg, you missed an AWESOME service at Grace today! wish you could've seen how wonderful the stage was set up and the music was jammin, and the message was great....A baby changes everything. My fav singer from the choir sang that song by Faith Hill...
before service, I watched the babies in Grace Acres (I've decided to do it every week now because I just adore them and want to serve more!) anyways, today I rocked little Grayson to sleep. When I'm not volunteering with the babies in there, I am so thankful to be blessed with having a JOB that allows me to do that on a regular basis. Babysitting brings so much joy to my life.
After church we watched the girls basketball game against Pittsburgh. (they are ranked pretty well) and it was a great game. We went into OVERTIME, but lost by one point in the end.
