What the Wolfepack's Been Up To

It's been a while since we've done a life update, so here goes...

My birthday was a couple of weeks ago, and Jared was at first stage, so we celebrated on the Saturday when he got back. He knows quality time is my love language, so he gave me the best present ever!!! It was such an awesome day and I loved every second of it.

We have finally gotten rid of random boxes and things we don't need and our new place is coming along quite nicely. It's still a one bedroom apartment, so we decided to utilize the space and use Jared's golf equipment as decoration!

I absolutely hate fish and can't stand the smell of it, so when Jared caught some fish to bring home and eat, he was able to use the super nice grill area at the new pool clubhouse!

My parents came to visit for a few days and it was great! My dad and Jared went deep sea fishing one day and my mom and I got mani-pedis. We had a game night one evening and it was super fun! It was a wonderful visit.

We even got in a few workouts... well at least my mom did with us, dad took it easy. haha

Jared and I have decided to try a new style of eating for a month just to have a refresher. We have been snacking a lot in the evenings lately, so we are basically just cleaning up our eating a little bit. We are not following a super strict plan, just eating less packaged snacks along with extra cheese/sauces.

We received these Multivitamins and Coconut Oil Pills from Purely Inspired and they fit in perfectly with our new eating plan! The coconut oil gives us a little extra energy boost in the morning and the Multivitamins have fruits and veggies in them too! Win win!

We received these AWESOME Granilla Bars to try out and they are Paleo, so they fit in perfectly with our new plan too! We have been enjoying them as our mid morning snack! They are  You can find them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

They also have Granilla Crumble, which is a 50/50 blend of their best selling Dark Chocolate Honey bar and Cherry Maple bar mixed together to create a delectable tasting grain-free, gluten-free cereal like no other. (I forgot to snap a pic of it) It is very tasty as well!

Lastly, my women's small group took a trip to the corn maze last week and it was super fun! We definitely got lost, but we eventually find our way out! Of course, we had delicious Fig Bars to munch on during the afternoon.

Well, that's what the Wolfepack has been up to lately. Hope you all have a wonderful week!

Thursday Things

We have received a few goodies in the mail recently and wanted to share with you!
We were not compensated for this post, just sent free product. All opinions are our own.

These are perfect for adding to our energy bites, yogurt, and oatmeal! They are full of protein and Omega 3&6!

This stuff definitely lives up to the name! It's really good! The only ingredient was PEANUTS, nothing else! DELICIOUS! We enjoyed it on our bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, and straight from the jar!

This gel uses menthol for temporary relief of muscle and joint aches. This was perfect after our heavy workouts for some relief instead of taking ibuprofen.

Peanut Butter & Banana Protein Bread

Purely Inspired is providing us with protein in exchange for recipes each month. We are not compensated for these posts, just sent free product.

Today we want to share a recipe for Peanut Butter and Banana Protein Bread with you!

Ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cup Unbleached All Purpose Flour
2 packets of NuNaturals Sweetener (or whatever sweetener you like)
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop Purely Inspired Vanilla Protein Powder

Mix all of these ingredients in your food processor first.

Then, add these ingredients:
1 cup water (or milk if desired)
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/3 cup egg substitute (that's all we had at the condo, but you can use 1 egg instead)
3 ripe bananas

After you mix everything together in the food processor, spray a bread pan with nonstick spray and pour the batter inside.

I sprinkled some oats on top for a little extra touch. :)

Bake at 350*F for about an hour and 10 minutes.

Make sure you do the fork test to make sure it's baked all the way through.

ENJOY!

:)

We like putting yogurt on top or more peanut butter... go figure ;) We are peanut butter lovers!

Kelsey's Crazy Rollercoaster 26th Birthday

Yesterday was my 26th birthday, and boy, was it a birthday for the record books! This is a wordy post, but sit back, and enjoy the craziness!

First of all, Jared is at another tournament and really focusing on q school because it is SUPER IMPORTANT.
So, the day started off on a rough foot because Jared completely forgot to wish me a Happy Birthday. Even though I was a little disappointed, I thanked God that he wished me an early happy birthday before he left. I know q school is the most important few weeks of golf, so I showed him grace and knew he didn't forget on purpose. But, I was also overwhelmed with texts, calls, face times, and social media posts from friends and family! Everyone was so nice and thoughtful!

Then, I Had a blast watching little baby Chase and the family surprised me with flowers, a LuluLemon workout top, and a cupcake, very sweet!

Next, I leave my first job to go on to job #2 with Christopher. I Made a pit stop at a store to get a birthday freebie bundt cake and my car battery died in the parking lot! I was so scared bc nothing has ever happened like that to me before. I had no idea what to do and Jared was 3 and a half hours away. Luckily Christopher's mom dropped everything at work and was able to pick him up and work from home. There was a guy in a Navy uniform in the car beside me and I felt like God was telling me he was trustworthy and would help me. Thankfully, my dad put this car charger thing that uses the cigarette lighter instead of jumper cables in my trunk years ago and He totally helped me and it worked! (THANKS DAD!) Then the guy drove his car and I followed in mine and he made sure I made it safely to the auto store where they installed a new battery. The whole time I was thanking God for keeping me safe and helping me and stayed positive!

Then, I get to Christopher's house and they threw me a birthday celebration AND gave me money for my new car battery. God is SO GOOD and He always always always provides!

I finished the day with a game night with my small group and it was a blast!

Throughout that crazy day, I was reminded OVER AND OVER again of God's unconditional love and grace! What a memorable birthday!
