Happy Memorial Day!

so...today my daddy attempted to fix the AC in my car. It is working perfectly blowing air, but the air is just not cold. My uncle said maybe it just needed some Frion (not sure how to spell it...lol) Daddy did his best...and it was blowing cold air for a good 30 minutes, so let's hope it lasts. The real test will be this week when I drive it around... Either way, I give my daddy an A+ in effort! (He is not exactly a tools-fix-er-upper kinda guy...he admits it...but I don't care, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!)

this afternoon/evening we had a daddy daughter date. We went to Subway so I could get that AMAZING Orchard Chicken Salad sub again...and watched 2012. The movie was okay, but I don't believe it. NOBODY can predict when the last day of earth will be- ONLY GOD KNOWS WHEN THAT WILL BE!

shopping spree!!!

I FINALLY got lucky shopping! I went with my friend, Courtney. It was great to catch up with her and hang out while scoring some GREAT deals! The tank tops were Buy One Get One Free. and I had a $10 off coupon at Victoria's Secret. whoop whoop!! :)

Wrapped up the day by spending some time with Chandler!

first day of summer job = SUCCESS!

well, today was the first day of my summer job...started it off with a lovely trip to the pool :)

FUN FUN FUN!!!

Tonight, I'm having a ROOMIE NIGHT...we're gonna watch a movie together and catch up on each other's lives. whoop whoop!

what a ride!

Well, the Wildcats put up a good fight, but their journey was completed this morning. They lost 4-0 yesterday over the #1 ranked team. I was SO proud of them for only allowing them to score 4 runs! that's awesome. this morning, we lost 5-1. so we're out of the tournament. It was a fun ride though! I'm so happy for my brother and the other seniors, they really enjoyed this a LOT more than walking at graduation!

Tomorrow starts the crazy, fun, exciting, silly, awesome SUMMER JOB!!! whoop whoop! :)

family time :)

Today was great! This morning, I worked out and Aunt Beth, little Zach, Grandma K, and Grandpa K met up with me at the Y. I showed them around and Zach played on the playground for a few minutes. Then, they went and ate lunch while I showered, and afterwards, came over and saw my house. :) Later, we went over to my parents house for a big get together with ALL of the family. We had Excel Barbecue (YUM! first time I've had it and it was DELICIOUS!) Chicken nuggets from Chic-fil-a, potato salad, macaroni salad, beans, and last but CERTAINLY not least...CAKE! This was the coolest cake I have ever seen IN PERSON...it was a baseball field with Kacy pitching as a Wildcat and hitting as a Roane State player, and coming home in his cap and gown! HOW NEAT!!

WILDCATS ARE GOIN TO STATE!!!!

My brother's baseball team WON last night!!! They are goin to STATE!!! :) WHOOP WHOOP!! I am sooooo proud of everyone! My brother pitched the first 4 innings last night. They went into extra innings..9 in all. It was INTENSE. Fun fun fun! Afterwards, the CHS Booster Club treated all the players to a meal at Beef O' Bradys.

On a side note, I tried the new Subway Orchard Chicken Salad sub last night and it was DELICIOUS!!!!! MY NEW FAVORITE!!!!

great day!

First of all, I just have to tell you about my babysitting job last night...I rode with Blake and his mom to Nashville. His mom was getting her booked signed by Laura Bush. My job was to take Blake to Panera Bread (YUM!) and eat dinner (which she paid for me) and then, we walked around the mall a little and got ice cream as a treat! We had a blast. Blake had the CUTEST shirt on, and everybody commented on how cute it was...it said,

"What happens in Pre-school STAYS in Pre-school"

Today, I went over to my Aunt and little cousin's house. She showed me how to use a steamer because I want to learn how to cook. We made chicken, zucchini and squash, and potatoes, ALL in the steamer! It was SO EASY! I will definitely remember that whenever I get older and have a family of my own...right now, I have decided that it's just easier to get pre-made meals because I'm only ONE PERSON...haha. I know when I have a family I will prepare healthy meals for them.

Tonight was my brothe…

woah...

so, I have never regretted my decision in "retiring" from softball, and last night, I was just reminded of why that was the right choice for me. I know that sports are competitive, but MY GOODNESS, IT'S JUST A GAME!!! (my daddy always laughs when I say that because I did a complete 180 as I was nearing the end of my softball career.) I used to be JUST like everyone else, actually, a lot worse...I was so caught up in the game and wanting to win that I may have hurt people's feelings in the process...the umpires do the best job they can, they don't need any extra pressure from the fans, coaches, and players. At Kacy's big game last night, people were yelling at the umps and even yelling "swing" while the other team was batting (because they did it to us first...but that DOES NOT make it right to retaliate!) I just said a prayer to God apologizing for all the times that I acted just like that and worse. I just hope I will NEVER get anywhere close to ac…

truly blessed...

Wow...God has REALLY blessed me!

AWESOME vacation with my friends! I have a job that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
my family is great! my friends are amazing!
Wonderful church :)I just thank God everyday for blessing me with so much! I am very grateful. Yesterday, I gave blood with my daddy. I don't know what was going on, but my blood just decided to be stubborn and take FOREVVVVER to pump out! haha. For dinner, we went to P.F. Changs to celebrate Heather's birthday and the end of semester for our Sunday night small group. So, we got the Denley's a gift card to P.F. Changs to show them how much we appreciate their generous hospitality, delicious home-cooked meals, and in depth conversations. Well, when it came time to pay for our meal, THEY PAID FOR EVERYBODY'S! We told them that this was THEIR present and they couldn't pay for ours, but they insisted and wouldn't let us... we are so grateful to have them in our lives. I've really enjoyed spending my Sunday evenings wi…

VACAY FUN!

Image
OH MY GOSH. WE HAD A BLAST ON VACATION! :) I am so thankful that we got the opportunity to go and stay. Thanks to my wonderful Aunt and Uncle for letting us stay at their amazing condo! We felt like queens for the week! :) We had lots and lots of fun soaking up rays on the beach. We had a nightly ritual of relaxing in the hot tub. During the day, we just ate sandwiches and snacks at the condo, and at night we went out to eat. We ate at Joes Crab Shack, Osaka (Japanese), Panera Bread, La Rumba (Mexican), Dippin Dots, and the last night we enjoyed THE DONUT HOLE for dessert!

Saturday we met my Aunt, Grandma, and little cousin Zach at the condo so they could show us how everything worked and where everything was located. Then, we enjoyed a nice dinner out with them. Sunday, my Aunt came with us to the beach for a while and we had a photo shoot! It was sooooooo fun! Definitely my favorite part of the trip! They left Sunday afternoon. I was glad I got to see them for at least a little while…

CKC & KK fun at the ballfield

Image
Chandler and I had a BLAST hanging out together! She was such a good baby. She didn't give me any trouble at all. After sitting in traffic forevvvvvver because of all the road closings, we finally made it to the ballfield. It was Kacy's Senior Night, so we made him a sign. We were his little cheering section. Chandler would clap and cheer with me! It was great!

flood.

WOW. This flood is just CRAZY!!! I am fortunate that I do not live in an area that is completely submerged under water, but downtown Clarksville on Riverside Drive is... one of the people at my parent's church flies their own airplane, and they took aerial pictures. It is CRAZY! Also, there is water covering certain streets here and there, so traffic is backed up for miles. It took me 50 MINUTES to get somewhere yesterday that normally takes about 10-15. Please pray for all the families affected by the flood.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

so...today is my Daddy's birthday...he's 110 years old..haha.. just kidding. only 45! (trying to make him feel better about getting to be an old fart..HA!) so after church I went to my parent's house. He opened presents, then we went to Burger King for lunch. I had a Veggie Burger=YUM!!! Then we went to the movies and saw Losers...it was DEFINITELY a boy movie...not bad, but not my favorite by any means. oh well, it was for his birthday, so he got to pick! :)

the weather is CRAZY!! It's been raining nonstop pretty much the whole weekend...a little south of us is FLOODING. There are boats going around getting people...some people are stranded sitting on top of their houses! They have even cancelled the local school system tomorrow, and it's not even THAT bad here...but surrounding counties are...crazy! I'm praying for those affected by this weather...

I went to the library yesterday and got a TON of cookbooks, so I am now in the process of scanning recipes and sav…

reception!

OMG! The wedding reception was sooooooooo much fun! I danced the night away with my friends! We were actually the ones who got the party started! Dancing is so much fun! It doesn't matter what other people think, because I KNOW I can't dance, but just getting out there and having fun is awesome! :)

Today I'm going to hangout with my family to celebrate Daddy's birthday because tomorrow I am supposed to babysit and going out to dinner at P.F. Changs for Heather's birthday/end-of-the-semester hoorah! YAY!
