North Bay Freeze Dried Fruits and Veggies Review

North Bay Trading Company sent me some of there freeze dried fruits and vegetables to review!
Here is some info from their website:

North Bay Trading Co. has a great selection of retail and bulk freeze dried vegetables.

Bagged freeze dried food is packaged in high quality resealable foil pouches with moisture absorbent pack to ensure freshness after initial opening.
Please note varieties and cuts of freeze dried vegetables not listed on our website may be available by special order in the large box sizes.

What is Freeze Dried?

Fresh vegetables are freeze dried by placing them in a refrigerated vacuum, and, without thawing, they are dehydrated. Ice disappears in the form of escaping water vapor. Cell structure remains intact, which results in excellent retention of flavor, color, shape, and nutritional value.

Gluten Free

Our freeze dried vegetables are gluten free.

I was sent the following fruits:

Sweet Corn
Sweet Potatoes

My Review: 8/10.
I really thought it was neat that the freeze dried fruit and veggies looked EXACTLY like the regular ones. I liked the crunchiness of the fruits and veggies. I enjoyed all of the flavors, but these were my favorite:
Grapes and Super Sweet Corn.

The grapes tasted like CANDY. The super sweet corn was a fun alternative to popcorn. :)

I was NOT a fan of the mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and kiwi. The mushrooms and sweet potatoes had no taste to them and the kiwi was too sour for my taste. Everybody's tastebuds are different, so you might enjoy those flavors as well.

Hotel Workout

Jared and I had a GREAT workout when we were traveling with his parents to his club fitting last weekend. Jared took some videos of our leg workouts and I wanted to share with you all.

The first one is a Squat-Lunge combo complex with a dumbbell. (we didn't have a kettlebell)

The second one is a Lat Pull with Rotation in Lunge stance.

We did these, along with some abs and arm exercises.

5-4-3-2-1- Curl to Press, then Curl was a great arm workout. We didn't get it on video, but good grief, my arms were screaming afterwards. Basically, you start out doing 5 of the Curl to Press then Curl, then 4, then 3, and so on. You do it continuously, and it WORKS.

Try it sometime!

Talk to me.... what are your favorite hotel workouts?

Acnetene® Acne Treatment System Review

Seth from Faber Products LLC sent me their brand new complete acne kit to try and review on the blog!

Here's some info from the website:
Acnetene® 5-Step System kit for controlling & healing acne, blemishes and pimples & zits!
  • Acnetene® AcneWash® - Gently cleans pores of infection, dirt and oil leaving skin feeling refreshed and clean!
  • Acnetene® PimplePads® - A daily toner that disinfects and cleans pores of the most stubborn dirt, oils and contaminants
  • Acnetene® PimplePaste® - The industry standard for gentle exfoliation, irrigating pores of infection, bacteria and clogging. Leaves complexion smooth and soft. Excellent as a daily spot treatment, exfoliant or mask
  • Acnetene® ClearCream® - An excellent acne moisturizing cream instantly replenishes lost hydration. Moisturizes skin that has become dry, cracking or inflammed or irritated due to excessive washing or acne medications
    My Review:
The smell of the AcneWash and PimplePads is not the best smell in the world.
As far as clearing up my acne goes, it does a good job. My face is not completely clear, but I noticed my face did clear up a little. The thing I like MOST is that it DID NOT dry my skin out like most of the other acne medicines that I've tried before.
It has kept my pimples under control. I'll take that! I actually went to the dermatologist a couple years ago because of my acne. This stuff does just as good as the stuff my doctor prescribed!
I loved the ClearCream that I put on after the first three steps. It was very moisturizing.
I am so glad I will be able to use this before OUR BIG DAY!!!
    128 days to go...

Schwan's Review

I was chosen for a FitFluential campaign for Schwan's Home Delivery. They allowed me to pick out   some products to review on my blog!  I decided to invite my parents over to join me and Jared for a yummy lunch to try them out!

Lemon Garlic Seasoned Vegetables
They were delicious and EASY to make. All I had to do was pour them in a skillet and heat up! The seasoning was very tasty too. :)

Dad digging in. haha

Chicken Marinara and Tortellini Skillet Meal
It was filling, tasty, and EASY to make! All I had to do was pour it in the skillet. How convenient!

Seasoned Stuffed Chicken Breast
OH MY GOSH. This was definitely an extremely tasty piece of chicken. It was stuffed with broccoli and blended Swiss and American cheeses. SUPER FLAVORFUL. It was also incredibly easy to make. All I had to do was pop it in the oven for about 40 minutes. I really liked that it was individually wrapped too, because I saved a couple pieces so I can enjoy them another time. :)

The lunch was definitely a hit with everyone!
Please visit Schwan's and order some of their food to try yourself. They have TONS to choose from!

 You can use the code
which is good for $5 off a $25 order OR $10 off a $50 order!

Schwan's Home Delivery provided me with free product for this campaign. All opinions are my own.
