We used the Beefy Crumbles in a stir fry. All we did was combine frozen veggies with the crumbles and a teaspoon of coconut oil. It was EASY, quick, and turned out QUITE tasty!

While we used the Original flavor, they also have a Feisty flavor as well. Kelsey is not a huge spicy fan, but the original flavor actually had some kick to it and it wasn't too spicy for her to handle!  Jared on the other hand, is a spicy flavor lover and this tasted awesome for him as well!

Fastachi Nut Butter Review

Fastachi Nut Butter sent us 3 samples to review. Here's some info about them from their website:
Incredibly delicious, smooth and tasty, Fastachi's all-natural nut butters will get you addicted to something that's actually good for you. As with all our nuts, nut butters are considered healthy; loaded with healthy nutrients, containing no additives, oils, stabilizers or preservatives, low in saturated fat and have no cholesterol or trans fatty acids.

In Fastachi tradition, we roast our nuts by hand, in small batches, to their flavor peak. We then grind them into nut butters upon receipt of an order - nothing else added. We don't believe in pre-grinding our butters because we want to ensure the maximum freshness when you receive it - for a difference you can surely taste.

Fastachi's nut butters can be used as spreads, in sandwiches, as a dip for crudites, as a snack with apples, and make a superb addition to recipes. They're also a wonderful compliment to desserts. Our butters are so good that you can just dive in with a spoon.

Nut Butter Tips: Stir before use, as the natural oils will separate from the nut butter. Nut butters do not need to be refrigerated and will not spoil. Store opened nut butter in a cool, dry place (kitchen cupboard) and use within three months. However, if you prefer, you may refrigerate.

Our Review:
YUM! These nut butters were delicious and nutritious! We were sent samples of Mixed Nut, Pistachio, and Hazelnut. We liked them all, but our favorite was the mixed nut! (Just because we are nut butter lovers and this flavor had all of them combined into one!) We enjoyed Fastachi on our Toast, in our oatmeal bakes, and as good ol' fashioned PB&J sandwiches!

Don't Go Nuts Review

Don't Go Nuts sent us some soy butter and bars to review! Here's some info from their website:
“What level of love and care would we need to take in order for families like ours to feel comfortable and confident in the safety of our foods?”
That is the profound question we asked ourselves as we created Don‘t Go Nuts. A nut-free facility was required, of course, but we felt that we needed to do more. After much research, we developed what we call the Field to Fingers Nut-Free Process, a first-of-its-kind inspired practice to ensure that every step of the journey is nut free.  From start to finish, our nut-free ingredients are processed using only nut-free equipment. We require confirmation of that from each and every supplier.
  • We built our own nut-free facility and added all new equipment to prepare our foods.
  • Our facility includes many security features. Lily‘s favorite is the ingredient receiving room, where dust is blown from ingredient packages and removed from the building before ingredients enter other areas.
So our answer to the question was that we need to take an extremely vigilant level of love and care because our food has to be safe. That safety is not only for the health of our child and every child with a life-threatening nut allergy, but also - and just as importantly - for the joy of our child and every child, so that they can let go and freely enjoy a fun, delicious, healthy pleasure that is truly theirs.

Our Review:
I was so excited to share these with the little 3 year old girl I Nanny because she is allergic to tree nuts. She LOVED the bars!!! I also sampled the Cinnamon Sugar soy butter for myself and I was impressed. I tried another brand of soy butter that she had at her house and it was awful! Don't Go Nuts had a nice flavor to it!

The best part was not having to worry about her having an allergic reaction to it. I get nervous bringing ANYTHING over, because I don't want her to have an allergic reaction if something I brought had even a trace of some kind of nut in it. I loved being able to bring these over without a single ounce of worry! They tasted good too!
