Bee Free Warrior Mix

Image
If you're looking for a granola that tastes like a soft baked cookie, then Bee Free Warrior Mix is just what you need! It's insanely delicious and we could have easily eaten the entire bag in one sitting.

What we love the most about this granola is the ingredient list. It's jam packed full of super delicious ingredients that we can pronounce, and they're all very healthy!

We definitely ate our fair share of handfuls straight from the bag, but we also enjoyed it on top of chia pudding, yogurt, and smoothie bowls as well.

If you're interested in trying some of this for yourself, you can visit their website, or participate in my Instagram Giveaway by clicking HERE and have a shot at winning four full bags!!!
You can also keep up with Bee Free on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Bee Free sent us free product in exchange for an honest review. We were not compensated monetarily for this post, just sent free product. All opinions are our own.

Pizza Casserole

Image
Jared and I love to eat pizza, but we also like variety, so I came up with this Pizza Casserole!

Ingredients: 13 oz. Fully Cooked Turkey smoked sausage 1 bag frozen Peppers & onions 1 Box of plain couscous 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt 1/4 cup Pesto 1/2 cup pizza sauce 1 tsp garlic powder 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350*F.
Pour two cups of water into a pot and boil, then add the whole box of couscous. (Be sure to read your specific box's instructions as they may differ in measurements)
Cut sausage into bite size pieces and brown in the skillet.
Sauté the peppers and onions in another skillet at the same time. When they're done cooking, drain the liquid.
In a large bowl combine couscous, peppers, Greek yogurt, garlic powder and sauces.
Pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Then, place sausage on top and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for about 15 min. Then, remove foil and cook another 10 min.

Hope you enjoy this recipe!

If you're looking for a sweet spread that's healthy for you, then Binnie's Coconut Butter is just for you! It is made with just a few simple ingredients, but tastes like candy! The coolest part about this coconut butter is how SPREADABLE it is! It's perfect to top your favorite treats and snacks!
If you're unsure of what coconut butter is, check out this info from their website: Coconut oil is the oil extracted from the coconut, while coconut butter is made from shredded coconut or the meat of the coconut and coconut oil. Similar to peanut butter, we use Binnie’s Coconut Butter as a superfood spread on toast, in smoothies, on pancakes or waffles, as a fruit dip, on sweet potatoes, and as a substitute for butter or toppings in baking! The possibilities are endless!
Coconut is full of medium-chain triglycerides which is saturated fat that is GOOD for you! It’s metabolized in the liver and used up as energy right away WHILE keeping you full and satisfied for longer. C…

Add some protein and collagen to your day with Vital Proteins!

Image
Jared and I love fueling our body as best as we can. Vital Proteins are an awesome supplement to fill in the gaps that we can't always get through food. They are very important for muscle recovery, can reduce the risk of injuries, and even help your skin feel more youthful!
Here's some info from Vital Proteins website:   Collagen peptides supply amino acids that are needed to build new collagen. Collagen peptides are high in specific amino acids such as Glycine and Proline that are especially needed for the production of new collagen. The collagen peptides stimulate certain cells (fibroblasts, osteoblasts) to build new collagen. Supplementation with collagen peptides can protect the degradation of the connecting tissues in athletes and could reduce the exercise induced increase of urinary collagen crosslinks. Supplementation with 30 – 70 grams of collagen peptides per day showed a reduction of risk for injuries on muscle, tendons, and ligaments in athletes.

Cashew Coconut Bites, Maca Muffins and Freezer Fudge w/ Wild Foods Co

Image
Boy, do I have quite the line up of healthy treats to share with you today! Thanks to Wild Foods Co for sending some goodies to inspire these recipes.
First, I want to share part of Wild Foods Co philosophy from their website: Wild Foods was founded from a desire to bring together the best ingredients in the world to support health, performance and conscious food consumerism. Knowing where our ingredients come from, how they are made, and the impact they have on the world, is of paramount importance because we know that food is the most important aspect of health, body composition, performance and longevity.
How awesome is that?! Not only is their philosophy awesome, their food is incredible as well! The protein powder and maca used in these recipes was not chalky at all. The coconut oil was delicious. The sweet cacao nibs were thoroughly enjoyed by Jared when he mixed them into yogurt and oats. I am still coming up with more recipes, so keep your eyes on my Instagram page

TigerNut Smoothie Mix Super Boost Protein Bars + Review

Image
I recently discovered TigerNut while browsing through Instagram and had to check it out.  Did you know... TigerNuts are not nuts, they are small root vegetables which comprised 80% of our Paleo ancestors’ diet around 2 million years ago. This ancient superfood originates from Africa. It is currently cultivated in West Africa & Spain.
Organic Gemini was kind enough to send some TigerNut Smoothie Mix for me to try! TigerNut Smoothie Mix is a powerful smoothie booster that improves the gut's well-being and potentially strengthens the immune system. The combination of energy-packed protein and prebiotic fibers controls cravings & makes you feel fuller longer.

We loved it mixed into our smoothie bowls! Smoothies don't usually hold Jared and I over for too long, but this really did make us feel fuller longer. It's not overly sweet, but it's not too "earthy" tasting either, like some other powders we've added into smoothies.

Another way we enjoyed it was…
