Fast for the week...

My church challenged us to do a fast for the week coming up to Easter.
I decided to give up music in the car.
WOAH.
Talk about a unique experience!
During the thing that we gave up, our challenge was to pray.
Pray for our church, community, family, friends, anything really.

That first day was just AMAZING.
Yall know how much I LOVEEEEEE music, so to be without it in the car was something else!
I think it was great to just drive down the road and just pray to God with nothing but the sound of nature.
(I KEPT MY EYES OPEN, just in case anybody thought I didn't! haha)

HIIT cardio circuit!

My workout today was OFF DA CHAIN!!!
I did a High Intensity Interval Training Cardio Circuit on the track at the gym.
First, I walked a lap.
100 Jumpin' Jacks.
Soccer shuffle with my left leg first.
Soccer shuffle with my right leg first.
Ran 3 laps.
(all that times three!)

WHAT A GREAT CARDIO WORKOUT!

before that, I did my abs/arms strength training.

I've been wanting to do something different with my workout, and this was awesome!
Love tryin' new things!

it's backkkkkkkkkk...

Image
My favorite sub ever is backkkkkkk at Subway!
I seriously screamed when I saw it on the big sign as we were walking into Subway!
Orchard Chicken Salad = YUUUUUUUUUM!!!
:)

After dinner, Kara and I saw the Passion Play at Hilldale Baptist.
Such a great reminder of the ULTIMATE sacrifice that God made for us!
They also added a really fun song at the end that I loved.
Shackles.
I am not joking, we got up and danced while this song was being sung.
Quite a few people in the audience did too.

to hear Mandisa's version of the song, click on this link:

I'm sure you'll understand WHY we got up and danced afterwards..

Brother's All-Natural Fruit Crisps Review

Image
Brother’s All Natural FRUIT CRISPS A little info about them that was on the brochure inside the package: Not baked – loses too much flavor Not fried- adds loads of fat Not dehydrated- adds preservatives Not sweetened dried- adds sugar Just FREEZE-DRIED! 100% All Natural, Real Sliced Fruit One Year Shelf Life 2 Fruit Servings PER BAG! Overall, I LOVED these! They were so good, and not to mention that just one bag upped my fruit intake by 2 for the day! (these would be really good for little kids that are picky eaters because they wouldn’t even know they were eating fruit – they taste like candy, yes, they are that good!) I enjoyed them by themselves, but my favorite way to enjoy them was mixing them into my yogurt messes! YUM! I’ve listed them in order from my MOST favorite to least favorite! Pear:11/10! Way better than I was expecting! I couldn’t choose which was my favorite between PEAR AND STRAWBERRY BANANA!They were both AWESOME! Strawberry Banana- 11/10! SO GOOD! The flavors of strawberry an…

It was the PERFECT portion.

(I know I'm probably the only 21 year old who tries to get in the recommended amount of fiber per day! haha)

DEVOUR!

it's sooooooooooo good!

what a crazy day!

Image
This was my facebook status on Wednesday: CANNOT believe some people... really? Stealing a backpack from the girl's bathroom? Good grief! Thank goodness they just wanted my books and left my binder (WITH ALL MY WORK FROM THE SEMESTER) in it before dumping it on the side of the road! Thank you Jesus that somebody found it!What a rough day! Well, after my incident, there were 4 more thefts that took place all withing about an hour!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD!?!?!? Ugh! Apparently they caught the girl trying to steal from the bookstore this morning and searched through her car! I wish I would've had my serial numbers for my textbooks written down so I could get them back, but I will survive. There are only a few more days left of this semester and if I'm really in a bind, I can always borrow it from a classmate.

THANKFULLY today has been MUCH better!!! I TOTALLY rocked my presentation in SPED today! I GOT A PERFECT SCORE!!!!! whoop whoop! :)

I am ALMOST done with all of the fruit …

34 Degrees Crispbread

Image
I was sent these two flavors of 34 Degrees Crispbread to try.

The two flavors were Whole Grain and Rosemary.

Whole Grain: It was good and only had like 30 calories per serving, but it wasn't something that I would run to the store and buy right away. I paired it with some laughing cow cheese and enjoyed it as a snack one day.

Rosemary: I forgot to snap a picture, but they looked identical to the whole grain except they were a little more yellow color. I did NOT like this flavor. I couldn't hardly eat one whole cracker. It just didn't taste good to me.

They have six varieties of 34° Crispbread: Natural, Sesame, Cracked Pepper, Rosemary, Lemon Zest and Whole Grain.

I bet the other flavors might have tasted better. I'm not really a rosemary flavoring type girl.

Thanks again for sending me the products to try!

:)
