It was a Rollercoaster Year, but TOTALLY worth it!

This was a roller coaster year for the Wolfepack, but we wouldn't change it for anything! We know God's plans are WAY better than anything we can imagine!!
We thought it would be fun to do a little recap of the big moments of 2014 for us. Hope you enjoy! ***Warning: This is a very picture heavy post!!!***

We started off with our VERY FIRST year on the Web.com Tour. Jared played in 17 events, which meant we were apart a LOT. (That number doesn't include the weeks he stayed with buddies in Florida to practice during the winter). We went through some rough moments, but ultimately God helped us stay strong and enjoy every single MOMENT that we were together! He allowed me to take off work and attend 5 tournaments with him, which he came in 33rd in Georgia!

Jared's parents crammed into our car for a longgggg drive home! That was a hoot! Fun times!

We celebrated our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY at the Kansas tournament, but we were together, and that's what mattered the most. We treated ourselves to protein cookies and smoothies after our workout to celebrate since we couldn't eat too much junk with Jared playing that day. haha

While he was home one week, he played in an NGA Pro Tournament that was closeby, and WON! I got to caddy for him on the weekend and it was AWESOME.

I absolutely LOVED my job. I fell in love with Baby Drew and Amelia. I had so much fun watching baby Drew in each phase of his life, and Amelia was fun to play princess and all things girly with everyday. She LOVES the color purple, so I would paint my nails purple just for her! We had fun at the playground and even went to the zoo a few times! It was SO MUCH FUN.

Then, around the middle of August, God told us that we needed to move to Florida to further Jared's career. I cried and cried when I had to say "SEE YOU LATER" to the family I nannied, but I know that God had everything under control. So, we packed up our cars and headed down to Florida! Jared actually went down while I was still working and picked out the apartment we would move into! He did a great job because we LOVE LOVE LOVE it! The location is incredible and the people are very nice around us and aren't super loud ever! We were extremely thankful and grateful to live in the basement of Jared's parents' house for a year for cheap rent and good company, but we LOVE being in our OWN place!

When we got our driver's licenses, they didn't tell us when they were taking the picture, so we both look ridiculous. But oh well... it's funny.

When we first moved down, I went to the course with Jared and picked up balls, set up putting drills, and made sure he was well fed during his practice rounds and drills. I also cleaned the apartment a lot, read blogs, and started babysitting here and there.

We attempted our very own HOMEMADE pizza with my friend's recipe, and it was a hit! We usually have homemade pizza once a week now. Perfectly fitting with our FAVORITE piece of art in the apartment, right? :)

I caddied for Jared during the first stage of Q-School, but unfortunately he didn't make it through. But it's OKAY because God has a plan and Jared has been practicing more efficiently and not stressing himself out with his mental game and has done well in some mini-tour events! Sometimes you have to take a step back to take a leap forward! We are staying positive through everything and keeping Christ first! God has continually blessed us.

In November, I attended my FIRST blogger conference and got SO MUCH MORE OUT OF IT than I thought I would!!!!

You can read all about my total breakdown in this post.

God gave ME an incredible work schedule. I watch this precious baby in the mornings, and then a four year old in the afternoon. We have become good friends with the baby's family and we are SO GRATEFUL. They are in the crazy golf world too, so it's nice to be able to share stories and tips with each other.

They don't mind if Jared comes over to help when they go on date nights, so it's been fun for Jared to see how a little baby acts and watch him grow! Also, we don't want to have kids for a while, (unless God decides we are) so we are grateful they let us borrow him every once in a while! :)

While we were in Orlando for a mini-tour event, Jared's friend gave us tickets to Disney World! We had a blast acting like kids again!

We went to Tallahassee for Thanksgiving to visit my side of the family  - grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! We had a great time!

Jared has always DREAMED of going to a professional football game, and his dream finally came true! The dad of the four year old I watch was sick and has season tickets. He asked if Jared would like to go and when I told Jared you would have thought he was a little kid again. He got SUPER pumped! We had a wonderful time together. I actually enjoyed it because I HATE football, but being there with Jared was fun and the Jags have the BIGGEST screens in the NFL, so I had fun watching all the instagram and twitter pics pop up. haha. We also saw some of the PGA players that Jared practices with at Sawgrass compete in the halftime competition.

God also blessed me with becoming a LOVE GROWN ambassador!!! I'm so excited! I received my first love drop a couple weeks ago and can't wait to host some giveaways for you all soon!

We took a quick trip to TN and KY for a few days before Christmas, but wanted to wake up on Christmas day in our own place. It was a great visit and we loved spending time with family. We can't lie though, it was AWESOME to take a walk on the beach in SHORTS on Christmas day!!!

After the beach, we saw Night at the Museum at the theater, and I got a text from Sarah asking if we wanted to come over for Christmas dinner. We already pre-made our pizza dough because let's be real... we LOVE pizza... and that's what we wanted for OUR Christmas dinner! haha. So, we brought over our pizza stuff and they had ribs cooking, so we all shared and had a GREAT evening! Jared made fun of my Christmas tree pizza because the top branches were bigger than the bottom. Oops!

For our Christmas present to each other, we decided to have a complete JK day. We watched the Louisville basketball game, went ice skating, played putt putt, and went out to a fancy dinner.

GUESS WHO WON AT PUTT PUTT!?!?!?!

We are looking forward to see what God has in store for us in 2015!
Hope everyone has a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
