Today, we want to discuss snacking. If you're like us, you like to eat all day long. We don't go more than 3 hours without eating something. We wanted to share some tips with you for snacking healthier.
1. Make your own healthy snacks that are easy to take with you. It's difficult to eat healthy when you're out and about and you don't have anything to snack on and the only choices you can buy are junk food. Our favorite homemade snacks are energy bites made with very few ingredients. We just blend them in the food processor and shape them into balls. 2. Keep plenty of fruits and veggies on hand so you can fill your body with something nutritious in between meals. We love bananas with any kind of nut butter, and fresh fruit is always yummy. We always pair them with some type of healthy fat to make sure it fills us up until our next meal. (aka we eat a lot of nuts and nut butters)
