Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Camp

After reading your comments in my Super Seven Surprise Giveaway, I noticed that a lot of you wanted to see more posts about my everyday life. Well, I am excited to share some fun info from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership Camp that I was fortunate to serve as a huddle leader at last week.

I attended the camp back when I was going into my senior year of high school. It was a different experience being on the other side of it this time. I really enjoyed being a huddle leader! Since it was my first year as a huddle leader AND they needed some people to co-lead, I volunteered. I was paired up with Madison. She was great! We got along well and we led a group of middle school girls.

It was so much fun! Each day we had morning and evening worship, and had some incredible speakers! We also had morning and afternoon competitions playing various sports. On Saturday, we went on a Faith Building Trip. There were groups of about 4 or 5 people and we walked door to door around the city and asked people questions about their faith and tried to spark conversation about God. My group only had 3 people answer the door out of the 15+ doors we knocked on, but it was still a good time.

I definitely enjoyed being super goofy (like I always do). The girls were so fun and they really liked it the goofier I was..haha.

One thing I really noticed throughout the camp was how much they LOOKED UP to me as a leader. It just emphasized the fact that I am always being watched by somebody, so I need to make sure that I do a solid job of being a light for Christ! I don't ever want somebody to stumble or have doubts about Christianity because of my actions or words.

I made some amazing friends with some of the huddle leaders! I hope we continue to stay in touch and keep each other accountable in our walks with God.

Jared was a huddle leader in charge of high school boys. We didn't get to spend a lot of time together at camp, but we definitely had fun teasing and picking on each other when we passed by...
Water bottle splashing fights were a must! ;) It was so awesome to see Jared leading those guys. He is such a wonderful man of God and I'm so blessed to have him in my life. We both pray that we keep God as NUMBER ONE in our lives and in our relationship ALWAYS!

So there you have it... what have YOU been up to lately?
