oh so graceful...

so tonight, I definitely made a GRAND ENTRANCE at Community Group...I totally tripped and FLEW in the doorway!!! HAHAHAHA. I laughed so hard! Wow. What a great moment to share with my friends, because they too burst into a fit of laughter. It was so fun! (don't worry, I didn't get hurt one bit, just laughed til my sides hurt)

But the funny thing was, not even TWO minutes before that happened, I was talking to my friends in the car about how I almost fell flat on my face at the Y a few days ago...so it was 289737809 times funnier to me, Heather, and Nikki...(I always pick them up and drive to our leader's house, so they just heard the story before my grand entrance occured!)

So, I watched little Blake tonight, and he wrote me a note...(he's only 3 so I asked him what it said) and he replied..."I love Ms. Kelsey, she is the best babysitter in the world!"


and THAT is one of the many reasons why I love love love my job.

Tonight I watched Baby VIP. He is a year old now! Gosh, all my little munchkins are just growing up so fast. Tonight his big brother was at a movie night with his friend, so it was just me and Vincent. We had fun playing with his toys, and then he got a hold of my bookmark, which was a POST-IT. He tried to throw it, but it stuck to his hand and the look on his face was PRICELESS. I was laughing so hard, he was laughing so hard, and this went on for about 20 minutes. Ahhh...the curiosity of a child...

Today has been a laid-back day. I went to two classes this morning and in one we took a test. I thought I did okay. It was a math test. We'll see what grade I get later...

After that, I worked out, talked to grandma on the phone, went to the library to get some new books, came home, ate lunch, and worked on my Lesson Plan. It's so crazy how I am really doing TEACHER stuff now! and another thing that's crazy is that there is only 5 weeks left of school!!! Where has the semester gone???

so I really wish I could be in Florida with my parents and brother right now, but I am staying positive because I will be there in 6 WEEKS!!! I can't believe it's that close! It's CRAZY how fast time has flown by!

Today was really nice and relaxing. I watched Jackson this morning and the Yates this afternoon. In between babysitting, I got to watch my second favorite show, MODERN FAMILY. I laugh so hard every episode! :)

I also got to video chat with my family down in Florida. It was really fun. Zach seemed to have a blast talking on the web cam and I couldn't help but chuckle because he was staring at himself on the screen. SO CUTE! He was talking to me and then started making silly faces! He told me he was going to take a picture of my nose when I came down to visit in a few weeks, and I just laughed and said, "no way!" so my daddy thought it would be funny to turn the webcam up at his very own nose! my dad is a goober, but I couldn't help but laugh. I guess that's why I'm such a goober myself. haha I really enjoyed talking to them on the webcam. I hope we can do it again tomorrow or Saturday.

After I babysat, I came home, finished another book, studied for math, and then watched my favorite show, THE OFFICE. what a hoot! It never fails to make me BUST OUT LAUGHING!

what a lovely semester!

I seriously LOVE this semester! It is so stress free. I thank God all the time. I seriously think He is rewarding me for working my butt off last semester!

Poor little Myrtle has been sick since Sunday. She stayed home from school yesterday and today. I hope she gets to feeling better soon! We went outside and colored with chalk for about half an hour today-wanted to get her outside in the nice sunshine if she felt up to it and she did! So, hopefully that made her feel a little better. I just love that girl! :)

I wrote down Myrt and Robbo's baseball schedule in my planner. I look forward to watching them play! I am ready to watch Kacy too, it's just been too cold before now, but hopefully after they get back from the tournament in Florida for Spring Break it will be nice here for good and it will be perfect weather for baseball! :)

weekend update

This weekend has been babysitting free. I missed it, but it was nice to relax too. On saturday, I spent time with my mom. We went shopping. I bought two new tops, capris, and a purse. I enjoyed spending time with mom. She has been busy with Kacy's senior year, and it was nice just to have some time with her by myself. I love her so much! After we were done shopping, we went to my parent's house and watched a movie with Kacy and Daddy. We also ordered yummy Papa Johns. :) It was great!

Today, I helped in the baby room and went to church after. It is storming here, so my friends and I postponed our picnic in my parent's neighborhood. Instead, I read my book and actually FELL ASLEEP!!! aaaahhhh. That nap was GREAT! I usually rest my head, but never actually fall asleep, but today I definitely did! haha

Now, I'm off to the Denleys for dinner and Bible Study! :)

sneak peek of pretty weather?

Today was really nice outside! It was really pretty. I hope that it gets a little warmer and stays that way! :-)

I am happy to report that I finished my 5 page reflection paper over my kindergarten observation and only have 2 more things left to do for MY 23 THINGS in Technology class. It's such a relief to be ahead...I am so thankful I am not on the other end...one of my friends had to stay up LATE two nights in a row and work NON-STOP on all the Things and other assignments we had due at Midnight. She was extremely stressed...but she got it all done I think!

I'm enjoying reading this book called Boy Meets Girl. One of my good friends let me borrow it. It's about courtship from the Christian perspective. It couldn't have been brought into my life at a better timing! It stresses developing a FRIENDSHIP first, and being patient. It is really helping me, because I tend to be impatient at times. GOD IS SO GOOD! He has really blessed me-great family, friends, and church- just to name a few. :)

ahhh. Guess where I am? In the middle of my Educ 3040 class. I am so relieved because I have BEEN DONE with everything that we had to turn in at Midterm. Today is a "work day", but I am already done, so I'm just playing around. All the other students in my class are freaking out right now because they have so much stuff to turn in by midnight on Wednesday. That's why it pays to do things ahead of time...okay, I admit, sometimes I go a little overboard in getting things done early, but it's DEFINITELY better to be on this side of the fence than being a procrastinator!!! I was actually productive during this "work day" by completing my homework for math class! YAY!

I cannot believe the semester is HALFWAY over! It's just flying by! and in LESS THAN TWO MONTHS, I will be hanging out with my friends in Florida! I'm so excited because it will be my first trip without my parents excluding church trips. Aunt Beth and Uncle Paul are letting us stay at their EXTREMELY NICE condo!!! I can't wait!!!! :)

rainy saturday

so today was rainy-cloudy all day. I missed the sunshine for sure!

I watched Chandler this morning, worked out, and then went to watch Little Robert and Vincent. They were all sweet. I just LOVE babysitting. I know I say that all the time, but I can't help it! So, I put Chandler in her swing for a nap and went over to check on her every once in a while, and I found her with the opposite end of the pacifier in her mouth! hahah. Crazy girl! I don't know how she could be comfy with it like that, let alone fall asleep with it! haha

Little Robert, Vincent, and I had fun. Robert and I pretended to be super speedy and run around the room while Vincent "chased" us. He is a little over a year old, so he was having a blast trying to walk around and catch us! :)

Afterwards, I watched a movie with my parents at their house since they are right there in the neighborhood. It's always nice to spend time with my family. I love 'em so much!

Then, I came home, ate dinner, took a shower, and finally caught up on laundry! whoop whoop! I know it's break, but I still did a couple of school things. (I can't help it, it's just what I do, I like to stay ahead of the game!) Now, I am rewarding myself by starting a new book!

fun friday!

Today was a fun Friday! I went to Nashville with my second family-The Yates. (Robbie and Myrt's family) We went to The Old Spaghetti Factory for lunch. YUM! I had a chicken panini and it was delicious! ( I LOVE TRYING ALL KINDS OF NEW FOODS. I was seriously missing out all those years when I was too picky!) Then, we went to the Adventure Science Center. It was a lot of fun. Mrs. Sue Ellen paid for my lunch and admission to the center and then tried to pay me for "my time" going with them. I said, " NO WAY CAN YOU PAY ME FOR HAVING FUN ALL DAY!" They are such a great family, I'm blessed to have them in my life.

I came home real quick, got my library books to return, and headed to the library. Got some new books, and headed straight to babysit precious Maddie! :) She is so sweet. After she went to sleep I got to finish my book, "The Wedding" (another Nicholas Sparks book). I'm officially obsessed with reading and am in love with ALL of Nicholas Sparks' books!

SUNSHINE!!!

THE SUN IS SHINING!!!!!! WAHOOOOO!!! I LOVE IT! It just brightens my mood! :) so, I enjoyed a nice walk around my parents neighborhood just singing outloud with my iPOD! I even fed the fish in the pond. It's sooooo nice!!! LOVE IT!!!

Yesterday was packed with babysitting jobs. Three in a row. But, I wouldn't change it at all. I LOVE babysitting. Plus, I'd much rather be busy and hanging out with little munchkins than sitting at home by myself all day! :)

So, I watched Chandler on Sunday afternoon, and since it was sooooo pretty, I decided to take her for a ride in the stroller while I walked little Molly at the same time. We went around the loop in the neighborhood once, and wanted to go a second time, but Molly was TIRED. She didn't want to walk anymore, so I put her in the bottom of the stroller and she just rode along with baby Chandler! HAHA. It was so funny that I HAD to take a pic! She was so content and never tried to get out!

It's really funny if you have watched the coach during the games, but even if you haven't, hopefully it will bring a smile to your face! I am in the section that is cheering at the end. I have my PEAYNUTS shirt on. I'm right behind the man with the headset that talks.

Bowl For Kids Sake

so, today was Bowl For Kids Sake. It was fun, especially because I BEAT my daddy!!! hahaha Before, we went to Applebees for lunch. I love spending time with him. I even turned down a date for him! ;) Michael, the guy I went out with from church asked me to go to lunch today, but I told him my daddy already asked me. So we made plans for Monday night instead! He loves kids ALMOST as much as I do, and it's so sweet. That is DEFINITELY a good quality in my eyes! so, we'll see what happens. I am not stressing over anything. I've learned through my ups and downs in life that ultimately God has it all under control, and if it's supposed to happen, it will, according to God's plan. :)

Tomorrow, I'm working the baby room (of course) and going to church. Then, I'm watching Chandler for a few hours (YAY!), then I'm going to the Denley's for Bible Study, like I do every Sunday night. They are such awesome leaders and are so kind to us. Not to mention the food is INCREDIBLY delicious every single week! ;)

I LOVE MY KINDERGARTEN CLASS THAT I'M OBSERVING!!! They are so sweet. Four of them gave me hugs today! It made my heart smile! :) and I don't just sit there the whole time, I actually walk around and help them if they need it. I CANT WAIT TO HAVE MY OWN KINDERGARTEN CLASS!! I really hope I am able to teach that grade. I LOVE THEM!!!

So, after observations I picked up Robbie from the doctor since Myrt had a checkup. It is like 2 seconds away from my condo, so I showed it to Robbie since he hasn't gotten to see it yet. That was fun. Then, I took him to his house and his dad came home and I watched him practice pitching. I don't see Mr. Bob as much as the rest of the family, but that didn't stop him from picking on me. haha. A lady from the neighborhood stopped by to get us to sign something and asked if I was dating anybody. I told her I went on a date the other night, and Mr. Bob goes, "was he under 12?" HAHAH. I said, "No, as a matter of fact it was a real date. But, I will admit I have a lot of little boyfriends." and he said, "Robbie's not the only one anymore?" HAHAHAH. I just love the whole family. They are pretty much like my second family. Mrs. Sue Ellen always says they are old enough that technically I could be their daughter! haha They waited to have kids. That just adds to all the reasons that I feel more like BIG SIS than babysitter. :)

After Myrt's doc appt, we got to play for a little bit. She was the teacher and I was the student! ;) I'm gonna watch them extra next week on break, and on Friday we are going to the Adventure Science Center!!!! wahooo!

I HAD A WONDERFUL TIME OBSERVING THE KINDERGARTEN CLASS TODAY!!! It was so great to be there and see how they interact and everything. I took lots of notes and even got to help test them on reading words and knowing their sounds! :) I really like the age. I would much rather deal with potty issues than potty mouths like they get when they get older! haha

Tonight, I'm going to Katie's house to watch my favorite tv show ever...The Office. It's finally back on since the Olympics are over!!! Then, we're gonna watch the movie, The Time Traveler's Wife. I'm glad I get to hangout with her because it's been a long time since we have gotten to hangout.

whooooop whooooop! I'm on Spring Break now! :)

I'm going to start it off by worshiping our Almighty God at AQUA tonight! I invited my roomies to come, and Grace actually is going to join me! YAY! I've been praying that they would come sometime.

Tomorrow, I'm going to start my observations in the kindergarten class! I'm excited!

today was a good day. I started it off with a good, hard run at the Y. Later, I watched Robbie and Myrt. I didn't watch them last Thursday like I usually do, so I was so excited to see them and they were excited to see me! :) A week feels like forever! hahaha

Tonight the Govs fought during the game, but came up just 3 points short. It was a crazy last minute of the game, but it was still a good run. After all, it is JUST a game. We'll get 'em next year. :)

I found out that my two classes on Friday are CANCELLED, so I get to start my spring break tomorrow after my reading class at 3:46. whoop whoop. I'm not going anywhere, but I'm going to get my observations out of the way and babysit like crazy! YAY!
